You can take it out and store it for a couple of days. No more than 4, and re refridge it. However, if the beer has been cooled and heated before, it will not only be skunky, it can make you VERY sick. The more times you cool it and reheat it the worse it gets. The best way to "store" beer is the way you bought it. If it is cold, keep it cold. If it is hot, don't cool it until you are ready to drink it. Believe me, (from exp) if you get a beer that has been cooled and heated too many times, you will wish you could die. It is a BAD sick!!!!

Yes you can store beer at room temperature. As long as its in a bottle, it will probably stay good for a few years but gradually the pressure will probably escape and if you open it five years later it might be flat.
We store beer at room temperature in our beer closet at the restaurant that I work at, but we keep the rest in refrigderaters.

Yes, just keep it in a cool dark place. Beers hate heat and light. The more of these two you have the longer the beer will keep. Cheers!

yes beer is stored cold the taken to stores left warm then you buy it and cool it. so the whole cooling and reheating process happens 3 or 4 times before you even buy it. so one more time is not going to hurt it
