I hope you mean that incorrect spelling or grammar detract from the meaning of the message? I've pointed this out, especially to folks working on their poetry. If you are reading along, getting the message, then get distracted by "what? what does that mean?", you (and the author), both lose.

Well, you could have told me sooner! ;o)

Just today we passed a sign on a car dealership that said, "Don't delay by today."

Will passing along the bad grammar of others work, or do I need to develop bad spelling and grammar myself?

Not half as much as anyone saying that "there are no atheists in foxholes." That really gets atheists bent out of shape. I'm a nontheist, but even I find it amusing sometimes how quickly atheists perk up and get steamed whenever that old proverb gets mentioned.

It bothers more than just atheists. Pretty much anything 'loldoodspeak' pisses me off. Seriously, the computer isn't a cellphone. Please stop typing like it is. The keyboard has vowels and punctuation for a reason.

The appropriate answer to this is - Did you think we cared? We already know that your whole philosophy needs corrections and atheism turns out to be too simple. Why not try and correct your horrible use of the english language. Have to start somewhere....
