A BIT early for them,
but a good greengrocer should be able to help you get one.

My local greengrocer (SW London) gets them in at the end of September/beginning of October. The Jack o' Lantern type pumpkins aren't ripe yet - they are quite a slow-growing fruit. If you need orange pumpkin flesh to cook with, Waitrose sells canned pumpkin under the 'Libby's' brand all year round.
Otherwise you'll have to wait for a couple of months.

You should try Borough Market near London Bridge BR stn, i'm always popping there for bits and pieces that are sometimes hard to get in your regular Tescos, Sainsburys etc
Its open on Thurs, Fri and Sat

Halloween pumpkins will not be easily available for a couple of months. Do try the other types. Butternut squash is really tasty, try it!

Go to New Covent Garden Market early in the morning by early I mean 3-4am. You will be able to buy any exotic fruit or vegetables you want.
Or if you do not want to be up so early ask your local greengrocer to purchase one for you.

pumpkins are seasonal. They aren't picked until fall when they are ripe and ready. The only pumpkin you will be able to find now is in a can.

Ask at a market stall? They might be able to get one next time they go to the wholesalers.
