Actually it is Eastern Europe with the heatwave.
Southern Europe is enjoying a very good summer, quite a few degrees cooler than normal as we are getting the tail end of the depressions dumping all the rain on you.

But as for the floodwater, I would prefer nature to run its course. The floodwater will flow to the seas, it will evaporate and eventually form clouds and bring lovely clean rainwater to us.

But thanks for the offer.

No, I say we be stingy and keep it all to ourselves and rent warehouses to store the water in so that when we get a heatwave, we'll have sufficient water!!
That should be at least a couple years.
You can sell the water to those heat ravaged families!!
Good luck with your new business !!

Smart idea (not). Leaving aside how would we get it there?
Stick on a plane and increase our carbon footprint?
As has been explained endlessly on telly, most of our flood water is now hopelessly mixed up with raw sewage - don't think ppl in Greece etc want THAT dumping on them!

Then they'd be hot and wet which would solve dehydration but not heat stroke. It would be most beneficial to those countries affected by forest fire. I have heard of Scotland exporting water to Spain by boat, I am completely serious about that.

It's full of sh*t!?! Did it flow right through the house of commons or what? Then Europe wants it as much as the Middle East wants Tony Blaire.

Hell no I don't want your floodwater, but I'd love a good rain right about now.

That is basically what all water projects do. They take water from places that have a surplus to dry places. Of course the cost is really high. So, who will pay for the giant pipe on the sea floor and all the pumping stations? You?
