I can actualy answer this. Go with a full vertical lift and let nothing but gravity carry the force for the strike. It will give the desired effect without causing bruising or tissue damage. Keep your fingers limp and slightly cup the palm.

aright, well if you're vector is at a 90 degree angle you're gonna wanna apply about 1290 Newtons, that's kg-m/s^2... but if you're at 45 degrees, you're gonna need to double that to 2580 so as to apply the same forward motion and get the same results in the redness area. happy spanking.
