There is way too much blood on his hands to redeem his image.

Yes. George Bush can be redeemed, if he acts to stop the genocide in Africa. Even though it is mostly muslim vs. unbelievers, it would go a long way if Bush sent the marines in to protect people that have nothing to give in return. At the very least, it would shatter his "Doing it for big oil" image.
As for repealing the 22nd amendment. Clinton can run again. He's sat out for eight years. But do we really want a return to the big tax era of the 90's?

No. The strategic failures of the war are just too glaring. It is a textbook case of how to lose the peace. And while some of the blame surely falls at the feet of Rumsfeld, the obvious question is why did Bush choose Rummy as SoD (especially after the Team B business in the 70s) and why did he keep him there so long.

yes. success in iraq and afghanistan. they've both had relatively successful elections and both are goin through growing pains like japan and germany after world war two. nations are not healed over night.
iraq has the world's second largest proven reserves and that entire country can be paved in gold like kuwait. once the iraqis begin to receive their monthly stipend as in kuwait, the money will make the terrorists unwanted and before long they won't have any place to go but a hole in the ground where they belong.
afghanistan, same scenario only they're a poor nation with little to no resources to offer other than a great people.
i know you oh so tolllllllllllerant and open miiiiiiiiiiinded liberals would HATE for success in either or both of those nations, but the sake of humanity requires that I pray for it.
i love you tollerant and open minded libs that litterally pray for someone's death. pathetic empty black hearted lot you are.

In old bible times, the conquering nation would rewrite its own history so they could end up looking like the good guys. They realized that in posterity, when everyone from that generation was dead, who would know the difference? Egypt was famous for it. They would also destroy all the conquered nations literature so they would forget their culture, and suplant it with their own. I think Japan is still trying to rewrite its history. I think the Bush era is to well documented to go down as a good lad in history.

Let me qualify: I think he's the worst President in US history, and that Includes Harding.
Good thing:
* Finally funded medical/drug relief for AIDS patients in Africa although his moronic supporters won't let them distribute condoms. He had a kick in the *** on this one from Bono, who had pointed out to Jesse Helms that Jesus would have cared for the sick no matter where the disease came
from("what you do to the least of mine..")
Neutral thing: The US has been at least slightly less cowardly than the UN and entire EU in trying to do something in Darfur.
Everybody is afraid of the Chinese, who get oil from there.
That's it...

He could take a bullet for a real president, I suppose.
I think we should repeal the presidential term limits and give Bush a try at a third term...
He'd lose, we'd get Bill back, and we'd be spared the scary pardons that will happen in his last 3 months in office.

If there is peace in the Mid-east.
I don't think it is going to happen, but the Democrats are scared to death that it might.
After all, what is more important than winning the election?
Peace be with you!
