Ok..
So I'm going to high school this year and nobody knows how I looked before, therefore, I want a new style...My hair is an inch below my shoulders and its 5% straight, 60% thick and curly, and 35% wavy..I was thinking of getting side bangs, but will that look nice if my hair is curly/wavy/and extremely thick...its a little straight from the top..So what ya thinK??Or can I get layers?? Pics will be GREATLY appreciated so I could show it to the person who is cutting my hair. Please help me because my hair is boring..Its a little straight on the top, wavy in the middle, and curly from the bottom. I always do a messy bun and I'm sick of it.. My hair is thick so I have trouble using a straightner..

btw, I have been making a hair part in the middle always, so how can i remove that...when i comb it back it still becomes a part in the middle automatically..is my hair used to it?? please help me..

like in said pics would be appreciated!

Thanks! ♥

God there are some jerks that answer questions here.

Anyway, I think bangs might flip around and be difficult for your hair type. I bet some layers and some face framing angles starting between the cheek bone and the jaw line would be cute on you. You should take a look at some styling books in the beauty shop to get an idea.

When you take a shower take a comb in there with you. Shampoo and Condition your hair. Then with the comb make a side part in your hair. When you do the side part you want the part to be lined up with the arch of your eyebrow. When you get out of the shower to dry your hair don't wrap it in the towel. Bring your hair to the side and dry it off that way. When you do that you will still have the side part. If you have a blow dryer use that. Start from the top of your hair so the top will dry and your part will stay there. Trust me on this I had to do the same thing. Well hope this helped you! Have fun!

for the middle parting, keep on combing sideways or back until it gets used to it.
side bangs or layers with ur type of hair will need daily straightening to keep it looking sleek and good. layers and side bangs go very well with straight hair. as long as u dont mind the extra job of daily straightening, u can go for it

pull it back into a pony tail use a brush to get it as straight as possible get the comb damp to get rid of any static to keep your hair from standing up buy some gell around you bangs or any part that seems hard to get in the pony tail and twist the stray hair in your fingers or french braid it so it looks nice.

Your hair already has a lot of red in it, so you may not notice the red as much. I think the blonde highlights would be nice. I also think the bangs would be really cute. They would add some flirtiness to your current do.

If you want something new, ask your stylist what will work, given the conditions you've described.

On a personal note, your hair sounds great just the way it is.

shave it all off but a 1inch circle on the top and make that spot in to a big spike that sticks out straight up if you are a girl or if you are a guy leave it how it is.

put layers all ocver your head. try a relaxer in your hair it should work. when you see that your hair is relaxed it would be easier for you to straighten out, also at the salon they can do it for you. put mouse and hair spray. for your curls and that would give them a bounce look. look for products that have curl boostings, try tresume or VO5.
