Depends on your tasted if you like sweet Mojito,Cosmo, MaiTai, long Island Ice Tea, rum and coke, etc are classic if you like stronger Martini (vodka or Gin), Margarita, Marked Man (whiskey martini), etc. You can always ask if they have a drink special - most bars will have a house specialty or a discounted promotional drink and that could save you a bit of money (always a good thing) remember to pay/tip as you go, stick with 1 alcohol type (gin, vodka, whiskey, beer or wine ~ not one at a time 1 a night) and get water between drinks to prevent hangover and help keep your wits about you. Cheers!

There are many drinks you can order at a bar. Knowing what you feel like drinking is the only question you need answered.

Unless you go to a trendy bar your bartenders will hate you if you go in at a busy time and order something like an "Old Fashioned" or worse still one of your friends made up a drink called the "Frilly Pink Skirt Chaser" and you think every bartender in the world should know how to mix it. If you know you're going to have to explain your drink to me then why don't you just order it like that. Best bet is to find a decent liquor that you like (vodka, gin, rum) and mix it with something easy (juice, tonic, soda, garnish) and let that lead you into other drinks that you might like. It's way WAY cooler to be focused on the liquor itself (15 year old scotch, single batch bourbon, XO cognc, triple distilled vodka) than it is to get a kick out of mixing a bunch of crap together. Branch out by trying variations within your liquor of choice.

If you want great summer drinks,Pina Colada (a slushy pineapple drink w/rum). Sex on the beach ( a juice drink w/vodka), hurricane (be very careful with this fruity delight it will kick your butt and it tastes so good like there is no alcohol in it but there is!) Strawberry Margarita..yum. Well, there's a few. Drink sensibly and Don't Drive!!! : )

like others have stated - it just depends on what you are in the mood for....also, what type of bar are you at?

my all time fave has to be a margarita...frozen with salt in the bottom. this usually isn't a good idea in a busy club - the frozen thing - i find frozen drinks can irritate a bartender. lol

cherry vodka sours are pretty good. tie me to the bedpost, f_(^% me silly, sex on the beach, long island ice tea, cowboy killer, 3 chinese fisherman in a boat, bloody mary, jager bomb, vodka n red bull, white russian, green alien......those are just off the top of my head

Well, it depends do you want to exude suave and class.. hang out with the girls for a quiet evening of gossip and bitching then - sex and city famous -cosmopolitan it is...

If you wanna get wild and hit the dance floor, with no cares and worries- let your hair down with a -Tequila

and well the all timer- could be sipping the regular beer!!

if you are in too much of a confusion ask the bartender for his special!!!

No wedding drinks. Nothing where all of the flavor of the liquor is diluted by ungodly amounts of sugar. Get a scotch and water.
