I potty trained my daughter when she was nearly two and I thought she was very young (maybe too young) to train. However, she proved me wrong because using the Potty Stool http://www.thepottystool.com she was trained in less than 2 weeks. I was skeptical the stool would make a difference but I never would have guessed how well it works!

I realized later that my daughter really wanted to imitate what she saw adults doing and was very determined to mimic correct toilet use.

This is just smarter potty training. I like that I don't have to use or clean a floor potty and I love that my kids are safe and never have to touch the toilet with their hands! My kids just get right up to the toilet on their own.

The best part is that kids use it for years. Hope this helps you.

I have the same problem with my 3 year old son. Yesterday he went fine, no accidents and no wet pants, even had a bowel movement in the potty. Today so far i've washed a load of clothes from him. I've tried every trick myself. The way i see it is they know how and when to go since they can one day and not the next. I won't say this about your daughter but i will about my son, he gets lazy. I've noticed if i have the tv off most of the day he goes fine, when tv is on he wets himself so he doesn't miss his shows. Maybe you could try that. I've also gave stickers, money, candy the whole works nothing. My only trick now is to keep putting underwear on him everyday even if he wents, i make him change his own clothes i tell him i don't want to touch pee pee clothes(which he hates doing to), he has to put them in the dirty laundry, and i tell him that's not what big boys do and how he's acting like his baby sister(10 months), when he does go i tell him how big he's getting and how proud of him i am. Its working a little better than my other tatics, now we can go sometimes 2 or 3 days no accidents before he has one

I have a 3 year old son and he also refuses to use the potty all the time ,,,some days he'll use it every time and other days I can sit him on it and nothing happens and 5 minutes later he'll poop in his pants. I am now resorting to bribes. My son wants to go to Marineland and I've told him that we can't go there until he's all done with diapers. We have a reward chart and so far it's working! Over the weekend I also let him go around without pants/diapers and that seemed to help too - he didn't want to make a mess on the floor. Good luck and remember - noone goes to high school in diapers :-) Keep your chin up!

The only hope I can give you is that she will not be like this the rest of her life! Sorry :(

I just answered another question like this, and I'll tell you the same thing. My ex's boy was nearly 5 before he even considered using the potty. It WILL happen, you just have to be patient. My neice is 3 also, and she is pretty good about going most times, but her problem is when she's having fun, and doesn't want to stop. She knows better but she pees in her pants anyway. They do grow out of it, that's all I can say!

You're trying too hard and your daughter is playing you. Give up, make it seem as though you could care less if she goes in the potty, I guarantee you once she sees that it's up to her, she'll go. It's called CONFIDENCE and if you give it to her, she'll use it.

My daughter was the same way. I would put panties on her and she would go poo poo in them all the time. I got tired of it I would have to throw out those nasty panties away. But over time she just went. I kept on putting her in panties and not pampers or pull ups, and now she potty trained but now it's me reminding her to wipe herself. Just hang in there, overtime your daughter will be potty trained.

when they have an accident...rub their nose in it, spank em on the bottom and put em outside.. worked for me!
wait.... that was the puppy!!!

nah, she will do it when shes ready. try to make it fun fo her. make a little song when she goes. buy one of those little kiddie toilet seats that fit over the regular seat. it turns the big potty into "her potty".and all that you need after that is patience. all kids are different. good luck.
