OK this is what I always do and it really works! You imagine that the crowd is getting bored with your act so you must do better than ever and whatever you're doing. You can put more emotion into your acing, add some comedy, or sing like you've never sung before and then the stage fright will be your best friend.

I use to act as well so I know where you're coming from on this one. Just know that it's just nerves man: try Calming yourself, take a few aspirin (thins the blood) And do some push ups until your physically exhausted. It's kind of like what Ben Stiller did in "There's something about Mary" when he "rubbed one out" before he went out on his date so he would be his self. Same thing, just different method.

i had the same problem. practice makes perfect. the more i got on stage, the more i talked in front of a group of people, the more i sang in front of my friends.... i felt comfortable. just practice, don't ever give up acting because you get to scared. try calming urself down before you go on stage. close your eyes and take a couple deep breathes. the only way you'll be able to shake it, is if you practice!!

just remember that if u mess up doing something, nothing will happen. no one can laugh at u cuz they havent tried it. my mom says that people laugh at others cuz of their own insicurities. but if u believe u can do it, and dont think of the ppl around u, u'll do it fine.

at first when you get on stage don't look directly at the
audience and just pretend there's no one else watching
