Do a dark brown highlight so it looks more natural. It will really look good in your hair and complement your skin color.

Oooh, Egyptian hair is always so pretty (Lived in Europe for several years, traveled all over and met a lot of people from Egypt.) and thick and shiny...Sorry, anyways, I'll stop gushing and being envious.
If your want the "normal subtle" look, try some dark chocolate and milk chocolate colored highlights, with some dark auburn thrown in a swell.
If you want the "normal, but you can definetly tell I've highlighted" kind of look, go with milk chocolates, dark auburns and some medium auburns.
If you want the "Subtly Unnatural Look", start out with dark blues and dark purples.
If you want the "Totally Unnatural Look" get out a color wheel of funky colors and randomly pick on. Black hair will looked good with any unnatural hair color. But here are some tips so you don't look goofy.
If your skin tone has a strong olive based avoid greens. (Which it may with you Egyptians heritage. I'm unsure if your a pure line of Egyptian with that more brownish/gold skin, or perhaps mixed with Arabic blood lines with their more olive skin. But, you know your skin tone so you'll you know if you need to heed this or not) It'll make your skin seem almost to be waxy and sallow.
Otherwise, with darker skin of a more bronze tinge, you can do anything unatural. Take care when your bleaching, as black hair Is hard to bleach and will turn odd coppery colors.
I suggest for the first time going to a salon and getting it done professionally. And Quiz your stylist! Pick his/her brain on why they're doing what and when. Pay attention and you may not have to go back to them, because they've unknowingly taught what you need to know to do it yourself.

I say NO to the dark green highlights. It would look too unnatural. I think dark brown or reddish brown would be pretty. Nothing too obvious. I think highlights that look natural are the best.

Well, I think that you should find a color a little bit lighter than your hair color , because it'd look natural like the sun did it an it wouldn't look bad at all. Personally I am Spanish (Spain not Latin America)and I have black hair and I get brown highlights and it looks great, a lot of people ask if it's natural, but that's our little secret. =)

1. Go to a place that sells hair extentions with a trusted and true friend.
2. Pick out some colors that you're interested in.
3. Hold them up to your hair and see how they mix.
-Or-
4. Go to a professional hair stylist and ask for their advice.
