They all are supposed to take premium. If you put regular in it, the car will run, but you will be much better off just filling up with premium. Its only 2-3 dollars more at the most. If you can afford a Lexus, I'm sure you can manage the extra 2-3 bucks.

Every Lexus vehicle will say that you need to put in premium gas in the owners manual. But i work at a Lexus dealership and we only put regular in all of our loaners, and they run just fine. All of the cars have sensors that figure out the octane of the gas and will adjust the timing accordingly. So if you put in regular it will run just fine, just don't expect the best performance out of your car.

The IS350 takes premium gas. The IS250 doesn't take premium gas. I'm not sure about the ES but i don't think it takes premium. NOT all lexus cars take premium fuel. I have two RX330 and they take regular.

I have a ES 330, but I am pretty sure all Lexus' take Premium. You can put Unleaded in it if you really want too...at least for the ES. The dealer said mine can take unleaded if I want.

definite it does for that express engine. My Lexus IS demands top type gas besides and you're able to be able to tell the adaptation and a pay attention a distinction in case you utilize familiar gas the top type makes the engine run lots smoother and quieter. you need to use familiar gas as quickly as in awhile in case you need to although that's cautioned you utilize the top type each and every of the time because of the fact that's going to break your engine interior the long-term.

The lexus website states that premium gas is used in testing and if it is not used preformace will decrease in both models.

Premium gas is recomended in most luxury cars.

It is suggested that the IS does. However, in reality using a lower grade of gas should not harm the car, it would just lower the preformance. Most modern engines can adjust to different grade.

I doubt the ES does, but I would imaging that the IS does require it, based on the hp/l of the motor.

The easiest way to tell is to open the fuel filler door. The proper grade of gas is listed there.
