baseicly i'm shooting high and left, how should i adjust my sights to get them on target?. should i move the rear sight up or down and left or right?

get a sighting target( they have1/4" squares on them),each square is 1 click in the opposite direction of the hit,if u are using a scope.If open sight,this target will make it easier for u to sight in also.Shooting high,move ur rear sight down,shooting the left,move the sight guide to the right.Also,take notice of where ur front sight (ball) is in ur rear sight.The "ball" or top,should be flush,depending on how u feel more comfortable,with the top of the rear sight,or the bottom of the sight.

move the rear sight a tad down down and right.

it depends on what you are shooting. If its a bow you should move the sight to follow, for example high and left, then you would move the sight up and to the left.
If its a gun with a scope move it opposite. If no scope move it opposite also.
