he had a car wreck, owned no home had 1 child, had no car had no job, but had a broken hip, he had no savings, yet when he applied for welfare he was turned down from a system that he paid into, as we left we noticed the office was filled with hispanics and alot of new cars in the parking lot, he and his kid lived with me for a long time,, why did this happen,

lety,, he had no money,, i know because i supported him, he got shafted on the medical,, this wouldnt happen to an illegal, also whos cars were they,,that was the only building

I agree with Buffy I have seen many of women get denied because they cannot prove citizenship. The only thing I have seen them get approved for is WIC. Just because you saw hispanics in there does not mean that they got any benefits. During that time it could have been the wave of immigrants that got residency. It seems to me that your brother could have gotten disability, since he was out for a broken hip. My sister had a broken back, and was denied they told her to file disability. Who knows why they make the decision they do. There are so many Americans lying to get this benefits it's hard for those that really do need it.

Buffy and Fairy hit the nail on the head bud. You can't get benefits if you can't show that your legal. This is factual information, and not just stuff I'm pulling out my A$$. If he had a broken hip he should have applied for disability, not welfare. Most of the new cars in the parking lot were probably employees and advocates cars, or friends providing rides to carless people. And being in the office does not mean they were approved as you already know.

FYI..... no illegals can get welfare, food stamps or any government money.. they have no SSnumber, birth certificate to indicate they were born here.. so, you need to get your story researched better.. If a illegal comes here and gets applys for citzenship and its approved, he will apply for SS card and then be able to get it... the benefits...

Sorry but i dont live in Las Vegas.. so how would i know.. but i know for a fact working in the office with the Welfare Department.. and you dont have to yell about it..

I WORK FOR A LAB,I GET ILLEGALS ON MEDI-CAL WHO ARE TRYING TO HAVE BABIES.THE STATE WILL DO FERTILITY TEST,AND ONCE THEY GET PREGNANT THEY GO ON WELFARE..THE AMERICANS WHO HAVE INSURANCE HAVE TO PAY THOUSANDS FOR FERTILITY,AND WHEN THEY GET PREGNANT STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING..
