Mentioning that I don't believe in gods, it seems...

I would define many here as Atheist extremist. Though there are some that are rather militant. I saw a picture one time on the news of a man who carried a sign that read, " If Jesus returns, kill him again." That's probably the attitude that will get a lot of people killed in the final battle.

I would see that term as being fitting to those who act 'religious' about Atheism. They come her and 'preach' Atheism, delivering the constant message, " There is no God", "It's a fairy tale." etc.

They try to gain converts to their message that only inherits death and Hell. And then sometimes I show them something that I wrote. Here I'll show you too:

This Was a Letter Written to The Dead
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dead,

See how your rotting flesh is devoured by worms. See how your rancid flesh has become as it bloats off your mouldering bones.
Your tendons have broken and your muscles are so decomposed that they do not snap into a cramp. No, they lie limp as rags soaked with the dead blood of your former life.
Your brains have become the bile of worms. Your bodily fluids have mingled with the flesh on your back, together they are turning what you lie in into a mass of putrid pudding.
If light could reach the darkness that you lie in, it would reveal the swelling colonies of bacteria rising like mountains because of the millions and trillions of them devouring every last protein left in the mortality of the flesh.
And of the life you once knew? IT is gone, no life for you forever as you are not even a memory in the lives of those still living.
So swim in your filth. Lie in agony you are too dead to know. You are of the forgotten. Yes gone and forgotten forever.
This is what you gave yourself. This is your destiny. For you have already decided what would be the end for you.
You decided there would be no one to save you.
You were too wise for that, no one could tell you anything! So rot, and later hell and fire forever to cook the spirit that is left with pain forever.

Death and the Devil

Well, it would have to echo religious extremism, so I guess that would mean murdering believers, becoming a suicide bomber, not allowing believers to attend public schools without saying a pledge swearing there is no god, putting "In Atheism We Trust" on the back of all our money, giving tax exemptions only to atheist organizations...shall I go on?

A mythological being. Most strong atheists only want to have an equal and fair society -- they oppose Christian hegemony and intolerant Christians, not Christianity itself.

People that might be called "atheist extremist" can probably come in two categories: (1) victims of religious-right spin-doctors, and (2) trolls who only use anti-Christian talk to cause conflict or lash out from personal anger.

That is the strong belief that there is no sort of god, coupled with a militant intolerance for those who believe differently. This is distinct from mainstream atheists; they are more tolerant and have an absence of belief rather than a belief of absence.

No such thing really. You cannot take the belief of no God to an extreme point. You can propagate your disbelief to an extreme point, like persecuting Theists, but your disbelief itself does not become more extreme.

Just for you...

Someone who blows up government institutions to destroy secularism, like blowing up the White House because a non-atheist might be elected.

Someone who wants to impose their version of sharia law, in this case it would be based on a non-theistic theology, but it's the same deal.

Probably getting on every post to Christians and stating the same thing over and over again.

Example:
What has God done for you?

Atheist: There is no god.

What is the best way to serve the Lord?

Atheist: There is no lord.

Why did Jesus die for our sins?

Atheist: He didn't die for mine.

So predictable. Get some new material.

Probably the nut chases that think all religion should just be removed from the picture. I don't believe in gods and all, but that is just a little, tiny bit over the top, yes?

Here's the most extreme version of my philosophy: I don't believe in God.

I've never heard of anyone killing for a non-belief

Atheists who say religion ought to be banned completely, or call for the execution of religious people.
