Listen, one slipup here and there isn't going to kill you, you just need to get right back on the wagon afterwards. I've lost 20 lbs since Memorial day, and every week I let myself have up to three meals a week where I can eat anything I want and not feel guilty. Some people have a "cheat day", but if I do one day, it would just turn into a total binge.
So, for your mentality, it's okay to do it once in a while. As long as you go right back to the healthy habits right away.

Well I would say have a little bit of steak (or whatever else you're craving), but not too much. You should try not to deprive yourself of anything because then you'll get these urges to eat tons of food. You're definitely on the right track with the smaller portions of food-- just make sure to make yourself full by drinking water and eating more veggies and fruits since they can fill you up with less calories than most other foods. Every now and then it's actually good to break the rules of dieting and eat foods you normally shouldn't eat because it prevents your body from getting used to your diet. If your body gets used to your diet, there will come a time when you can't lose weight any longer. Ultimately, if you pig out now, you might end up gaining back some (if not all) of the three pounds you lost :(

Try incorporating the things that you love into your diet, that way you dont suffer from withdrawls. Instead of eating a whole steak, try eating a smaller portion. just because you are on a diet doesn't neam that you have to disclude everything that taste good. Eat what you normally would, just in a lot smaller portion. That way you do not feel the need to "pig out". 3500 calories = 1 pound!!

Don't do it. Its not worth it. Maybe just drink more water or eat more fruit and veggies if you are hungry. You can indulge a little bit, but don't "pig out" You will feel really guilty and get "off track" Steak is not bad for you by the way.
good luck- YOU CAN DO IT!

It just means you body is craving something you're leaving out of your diet. Steak means you need more protein. Listen to your body it wants what it needs. So give your self a small portion of steak it wont hurt.
Just remember everything in moderation.

did you watch oprah yesterday? well, dr. oz was on discussing, what else but oprah's favorite subject, weight loss. he said what i say. dieting is not about depriving yourself, it is about limiting yourself. if you constantly deprive yourself, you will fall back and ultimately give up on your diet. what you need to do if you feel like eating something, eat some...but not too much, just enough to take the want for that away. anyways, good luck!
