Also Could You Help Me Out with Roll Out Icing?

I believe red, yellow and blue would be correct. Yellow and blue by themselves make green, and I think the red would add the necessary other ingredient.

I have tried to make the rolled out icing from scratch and it worked pretty well, although I found it to dry out too fast. If I were to try again, I would probably opt for the pre-made icing you can get at stores that sell cake decorating supplies. Hobby Lobby, Michael's and sometimes Wal-Mart might carry it.

When I made the icing, my recipe said that the gel food colors worked better - I used them and they did make the color very real and intense.

Brown is made by mixing different ratios of the primary colors- red, yellow, and green.

You can 'cheat' by mixing complimentary colors (colors opposite each other on the color wheel)- red and green, orange and blue, or purple and yellow- since the 'secondary' color in each pair (orange, purple, and green) is made by mixing 2 primary colors.

Try 2 parts green and 1 part red for a simple start.

OR- for an even BETTER brown in icing or other things, use cocoa powder instead!
