me and my ex broke up a couple weeks ago and talked online for the first time last night. i really wanna get back together with him but he's not sure what he wants..its a confusing situation..but anyways, i asked him if we were done for good and he said "for right now i guess." then i said i just wanted to know if im wasting my time trying to get back together with him and he said "i dunno... i guess dont hold your breath... but dont be suprised if i call you up or somethin in the future i dunno". does it sound like he would wanna get back together? i cant really tell.

i dont think anyone else read your additional details and the reason you all broke up. you messed up. it happens. it doesn't make you a bad person, but you hurt him and he needs time to heal and be able to trust you. it sounds like he wants to be with you but needs some time. i would write him a letter telling him how sorry you are and how you will NEVER do that again. i would also tell him that you understand how he feels and that you hope one day to patch things up, but for right now you would still love to be friends and work on building the trust back up. good luck =)

He wants you at his disposal. He is telling you that he wants to see other women at the same time. I would move on. It is hard but take it one day at a time and don't give into his crap. Dont make an effort to contact him. If he contacts you again, just be polite and dont talk about your past relationship. talk to him like you would a friend and see what happens. Show him you are too good for that!

Oh heck no!!! girl he is stringing you along and trying to make a fool of you and it sounds like you're letting him. Don't ever be on a guy like that. He do not want you. And don't even let him know that at the drop of a dime he could get you back. If he wanted you, you wouldn't even have broken up to begin with. He wouldn't leave your side and would let you know he wants to be with you. He doesn't even sound like he deserves you. Don't give him the satisfaction. Please the choice isn't his, it's yours. The next time yall talk, make it sound like you don't want him and he couldn't get you back. And believe me he won't try becuase he didn't want to anyway.

What a PIG! Quit being his fall back just because you "want" to be with him. Basically what he's telling you is that he's interested in someone else, but if that doesn't work out he'll come back to you. Whatever...move on. Find someone who would kiss the ground you walk on and is grateful to have you in their life everyday!

In my opinion I would walk away, you are wasting your time with him. There is someone else who knows they want to be with and you should find them. He sounds like he is afraid that he wont have a backup to go back to if he cant find someone else. He doesnt want to be with you unless no one else wants to be with him. I know it hurts but forget about him, find some girls to go hang out with, and keep your eyes open for someone much better ; O)

He's apparently not ready for a relationship right now. As time goes by, he may feel ready to be in one again. He's saying that if someone else comes along, go for it and don't wait up for him.

it sounds like he still likes you but hes not sure if wants to get back or look around a little and be single for awhile. maybe if you had relationship problems like fighting arguing alot then he might not be sure if thats wat he wants to get back into. stay single a little while but lil flirty dont be shy around other guys, it might make him want you back.
