if you have faith you prescriptively believe what you are told to believe.

a unifying trait of all atheist is they reject formalised religions telling them what to do via a holy book. Atheists have to use the more dynamic question and answer method of arriving at the truth.
The religious only know the same answer to each question and thus once one of them has answered the rest may as well go back to irresponsible lives waiting for heaven to take them.
Atheists are just more experienced with questions and differences of opinions - and thus more confident to give an answer that isn't already given.

Watch what happens though when someone asks the Religious "what is god's name" or "how do you get to heaven", differing answers appear and in the resulting confusion brought on by lack of experience of dealing sucessfully with differences such hell breaks loose that infrequently wars even start.

Because Atheists are unencumbered with religious trash and will tell it like it is instead of trotting out the garbage drilled into people from birth by the religious lunatics that run the world. From being born everyone is indoctrinated into believing the fairy stories and fantasies in the so called holy books of all religions when these were written by religious fanatics with nothing else to do but spread lies and hatred.

I'm an atheist, by the way. I sometimes like answering good question posted by theists, but such questions come really rare. So I spend most of my time answering the questions posted by atheists, which are often times more intelligent (except for some posted by some dumb atheists) than those posted by theists.

Because religious types only know about religion and cannot prove what they believe, so what`s the point in them answering?
Besides, as someone has already said, answers by atheists are always more entertaining, probably because they do not have to prove that gods do not exist, and what does not exist, cannot be proven. How can you prove that something doesn`t exist?
The short answer is: if you cannot prove it exists, it does not exist. If it did, you should be able to prove it!!
If not?????

I wonder if the reason could be just the same as why do Christian Questions "always" get answered by Christians?
Is there a conspiracy involved, and could George Bush and Tony Blair be in collusion about it?

doesn't it say in the bible that you should not follow blindly but seek knowledge - us atheists do that - the more we question the less believable the holy books are ---

you carry on blindly following if you want to but if you don't question how do you know you are in the right faith - i think if there was a god he would be a bit cheesed off if you were getting it wrong simply because you couldn't be bothered to question anything.

Most have open views and they are not afraid to say what they are. The Christians have a one sided view and get a little baffled by the questions. They can't help it - bless em!

If someone asks a question, and someone else feels like answering it, why not ?
Do we first have to ask whether the questioner is a believer or non-believer before we're permitted to answer ?
