The ideal weight for someone who is 5' 5"
5' 5" 117-130 if you are small framed.

You do NOT need to lose any weight.

I know there's a lot of pressure for you to conform to some crazy supermodel weight, but you need to be healthy! When I was in high school. I was 5' 7" and weighed 125 pounds and I was a stick! I had absolutely no shape at all to my body.

Don't let the number 100 frighten you! It frightened me for a long time as a kid and it was the 3 digit number that make me feel like oh my god I gained so much weight! Yet I wore a size 0 or a size 2.

Do not let a number rule your life! Look at this chart and understand it. Some people even feel that these numbers are too low! These are weights given by various medical associations and are considered weights in which your body will be HEALTHY.

hey sounds like your going through a tought time. i think every female wants to look better and more fit after the summer. they want people to look and think wow they got into shape. but guess what when you go back you don't see any of that. maybe a tan or new hairdo or cool shirt but thats about it.
you are actually at a little less than helathy weight. according to the Body Mass Index(BMI) which tells you for how tall you are how much you should wiegh to be healthy, you are a 17.5. which means your atcually too thin. but age, and muscular build a los take into effect. it sounds like you have an unrealstic body image. try talking to a dr, a close aunt, a mom, someone because body image and self confidence are important. and when ur insecure about your weight and your not unhealthy/overwieght thats the start of a serious eating disorders.

Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

oh wow your soo pretty! you are really skinny you have a BMI of 17.5 which is below underweight if you wanna lose more which I don't think you need to go to anorexic queen on live journal and make an account. Anorexic queen is the community but if you don't have an eating disorder plz do not go!

you already do sound very skinny..youre 12 and 5'5? and only 105 lbs? i think youre okay....if anything youll have to gain more wieght
but make sure you eat a healthy diet and excercise. if you really do want to lose weight i dont think you should cut out any food at all except for soda/chhips/junkfood and other things similar..because you do sound quite small

Yah everyone will think you sound tiny but not to be mean your prolly not when i was 12 i can remember me and my friends all being about 84lbs and i ddnt put on any weight really untill i was 16! just liek cut out all the junk exercise everyday for an hour and your body will come to a weight it wanst to be at this is liek your natural weight.

the best i kno of is running.like sereous 5 mile work outs.
you have to be 100% committed tho.
it works well too.
girls go onto our crosscountry team and after 2 weeks or so if they were working hard you could totally see the difference.

You need to A. Watch your diet B. Exercise *jog, Sit ups* C. Be more active dont sit at home and watch tv go outside and walk if there is nothing to do.

5'5 and 105 pounds is skinny enough.

omg your really skinny, my friends are 5'2 and they weigh 120, but they dont work out. if you do want to lose weight run for an hour everday and all that jazz. lol good luck!
