I've been on Answers since January of 2006, although my profile does not show it because I had a technical difficulty awhile back. I did not stick to R&S, but I did answer quite a few questions in this category, even then. Since I've been back, with the little orange badges, I have tended to spend more time on R&S because of the badge. Not sure why.
What do I learn? To be cynical about it, I learn how little other people know about any religion but their own. I learn how hard it is for some people to be rational, let alone polite, in discussing religious issues. And I learned that the voice of peaceful co-existence is needed here, which is the main reason I stay.
Imagine me in the background with a row of Muppets singing, "Why Can't We Be Friends?"

I've been here since October of last year (under a different account but the same avatar name).
I am not here for "learning point", whatever that is, but I have learned:
That there ARE actual Christians out there (people who follow the life example and teachings of Jesus (as they are reported in the NT), and that's a lovely thing to learn. There are more than I thought.
Tthat there are even MORE people who've read a book or two, and think that that's Wicca, than I suspected.
That a lot of people will indulge themselves in any kind of bad behavior in the name of their religion, and give themselves permission to be that way without even blinking an eye.

I go back through too. The general thought process of R&S has evolved over time.
I know many who have been deleted. Most come back.
I have been on since June of 06. I have learned about religions, but more than that, I have learned how people think. I am here for the humor, but the education I get is a bonus.

I’ve been here for nearly 7 months... I learned a lot about diffirent religions and people... I got to feel more devouted and secure to my faith.. I got to know wonderful people from the R&S and from the Y!A, in general... I think I did my best to give useful answers in here.. To help some people know the truth they seek... I’ve never offended anybody, or mocked anybody’s faith, no matter it is not convincing to me.. Because I believe that people have to differ.. And the winner is whom God guides to his way...
Being on the R&S is a good experience to me.. :)
Peace be with you all

I've been here almost 7 months.
Every day I am amazed to learn how many people won't use their mouse to click "Check Spelling". Why is that so hard for them?
I stay at R&S to evangelize and try to clear up misconceptions about the RCC. If I help just one person get rid of just one misconception, it will all be worth it.

Under this ID? I've been here a few months. If you include a previous ID that I had to delete due to harassment, it's been about a year.

People will try and discourage the people that mean well. That's part of life. I've met some really awesome people on YA and have taught me things, and ways to handle and tolerate people that mean no good. I keep coming back to add my good cents and to contribute my goodness to and for other people!
