There are a lot of superstitions about Friday and the number 13.
Jesus was crucified on Friday 13th. It wasn't a Good Friday for him.

It is not true that everyone is afraid to go out on Friday 13th. I know this for a fact because I'm not afraid to do so, and I'm part of "everyone".
