$9.6 million in kickbacks, $5.4 million on the way and he asks for a court appointed lawyer?
I wouldn't call him "Unpatriotic. Or "Terminally Stupid." He's obviously a Bushevik, with good, solid Republican Values--so that would be a redundancy.

Halliburton's profit line went up 800% from it's pre-war days till now. They had a no bid contract issued them and they have ties directly into the White House. That is a huge conflict of interests. 363 TONS of cash were sent to Iraq and just mysteriously disappeared into thin air.....poof.
The man that you write about is not one bit worse than the man that holds the highest office in the land. They are both horrifically corrupt. Money from taxpayers has been squandered by the Bush administration and not for the benefit of our soldiers. We gave him too much power and with absolute power comes absolute corruption.

$41 billion no bid contracts to Halliburton, heck yes I think there should be a clean up.
I also think the military budget should be audited...I don't think it's EVER been audited. Bet we could find the money for universal healthcare, social security, education and American veterans, all without raising the taxes of the American people.

My thoughts are that this article made me wretch. American soldiers do not have proper life-saving equipment, adequate healthy food, or even clean water. And then scum like this is making MILLIONS?
I hate this war. And what it is doing to this country.
And it is VERY patriotic to hold people accountable - that goes for our own military, or contractors, or elected officials.

Stop the war and stop sending taxpayer funds overseas and the corruption will end of its own accord! But they should place both of them and anyone else that has benefited from the war under the jail for life times ten!

No! He and his wife should rot in jail! it is conflict of interest because his job dealt with military contracts and by him getting bribes and influencing the decision on who get the contracts is unethical! He was in it only for the money! greed! greed! greed!
