You said nothing about exercise. Are you getting regular workouts or exercise of some kind?

I am sorry for what I am about to say, but the way you have asked the question sounds like you are very stressed. What are your normal activities? First thing you do when you wake? After lunch or do you have lunch? Before you sleep? When do you sleep? How many hours do you sleep?
Caffeine is not an energy booster, what it does is once you have the energy it will keep you from slowing down. Hot coffee in the morning, people say wakes them up, but hot coffee at not they say helps them sleep. It is the same with tea. If your body is use to caffiene it will not effect you in any way, because you have become immuned to it.
Sugar helps with energy, everyone needs a little sugar in their body everyday. This could be your problem, you may be low on your blood sugar. Have your Doctor test and see. The only thing I would suggest for anyone to take is multivitamins. These vitamins give you the calcium, iron, sugar, protein, salt, and carbs your body needs everyday, no matter how many times or how much you eat. Vitamin B6, C, and zinc are very important for you for energy. Not only do these viamins help with energy and fitness they also help with anxiety, stress, and depression. LOL!!!

congrats on the healthy choices you are making! it is possible that you are however overdoing it. it can be good to eat some bad sugar once in a while... gives you a little boost! also, are you exercising at all? is this an ongoing problem? it's very possible that it is mental. by saying that i am not suggesting that you are depressed. while that's possible you could just be bored too! find something that makes you excited and takes your focus. if you are excited about something... it will give you energy. a goal that you have the drive to work towards. maybe something you'd like to learn more about or better an arts and crafts class, or even better some sort of physically challenging class. something that you can make goals, and when you reach them, make new ones! bodybuilding competitions did this for me. i also found that i had to increase my speed to join the army once. i have NEVER in my life had the energy to run quickly, but when i knew i had to i if i wanted in... i suddenly had the energy to go running everyday and got noticeably faster in a couple of weeks! now a days i do yoga, and use the advanced posses as my next goals. (just throwing ideas at you) maybe you like to swim? or dance? rock climbing is a blast and gets your blood pumping! get excited about something!!!

This sounds like there is a possibility you suffer from either depression and/or a chemical imbalance. It would probably be beneficial for you to go for a physical to rule out any undiagnosed physical condition that causes fatigue. Once you can eliminate that possibility, the next step would be to find out why you can't snap out of this malaise. In the meantime, it's great that you have not abused food or substances and can tell your physician about your very positive lifestyle. The fact that you are doing everything you can to help facilitate your good health will, no doubt, turn out to be a very good thing. I wish you the best; one who lives the way you do deserves to be energetic and kick up her heels!

Energy doesn't come from nowhere it needs to be generated. Think about what can generate the energy that you need. Also, think about what kind of energy would you like? What im getting at is that different types of fittness give you different energy, different benefits. If you work out thats one thing, running another, tams sports is different, yoga is yet different. But in any case its not a bad idea to choose some kind of a exersise routine and just start doing it. It will help you tremendously i believe. thanks.

sounds like you may want to try some added proten for a quick lift eat some fruit for a snack. Rasiens are great source!
are you getting plenty of sleep? too much sleep..
I recommend you keeping a log/journal of your sleep and what you eat and when you eat it!
how you feel when you eat it and what your moods are!
it's hard work to keep a correct log but if you really want to get to the problem at hand you need to find out what is wrong! and by what you listed there is nothign for me to even guess at! other then sleep cuz you didn't mention it!

Sounds like you have a healthy diet and take care of yourself. Do you exercise? Maybe that is what's missing from the equation. Pick something you will enjoy doing like dancing, swimming, bike riding etc. That way you'll stick with it and it won't feel like a chore.

I don't think you should "take" anything. It sounds like you should see your physician for a complete physical examination. Your doctor can also run some blood tests for anemia etc. There may be a physical reason for your decrease in energy.

Try walking for 30 minutes a day, unless you already get plenty of exercise. Im retired and I get sluggish if I dont walk. It really helps me a lot.
