I think the age factor depends on the persons character...not truly on age.
I dated and got serious with someone 11 yrs older than me.., and let me tell ya it was nothing new..he ended up being like a highschool jerk after all.
So as u can see ..not every person goes or plays by their age.
Again age should not be a factor if u really like the person, their company, their thinking , and chemistry is a plus, if u both seem to click there should be no problem.. , love and communication is all that is needed.

For me age don't matter at all, it all depend on if the two people connect with one another and understanding one another. I dated a guy that was 10 yrs older than me but he was a mama boy and asked his parents for advise for everything, it seemed more likely to get there approval. That only lasted 2 years then I couldn't take that anymore. I wanted a man not a little boy still asking his parent what he should do or is okay with them. After that I met my love of my life, we are 14 yrs apart but he is everything I want in a person, loving caring, passionate, out going, athletic, non smoker, non drinker, likes to cook and clean, stable job, family person, and much much more. We went out for 1 and half and just got married a month ago, I always thought I wouldn't get married until my later 20's or early 30's but it just happened and I knew he was the one for me. Age don't matter you can fall in love with anyone.

I fell for someone that was so much older than me. I think it was just his maturity that i was so attracted to. He was 10 years older than me. Of course we didn't last. I later on learned that usually people fall for older people because they were possibly lacking a parent in their life...i don't believe that but it's something to think about.

yes. the reasoning being he was a really terrific guy. I being 21 at the time he 46. I believed that age should not play a role when it comes to who you have feelings for. as long as you feel you are mature enough to handle the relationship and not let others influence your decision you should be fine.

good luck

When I was 16, I fell for a girl who was 27. It was purely physical. It lasted about 6 months.

Does 2 years count? I am 13 and this guy is 15. We like eachother alot but we arent going out.... YET! The reasoning? Ummm... i dunno. We both go to the same church and youth group. AND he is really nice, funny, great personality, cute, and athletic. :]
