salad is a broad term...
What will you put on your salad?
If you are referring to raw veggie and fruit salads with no cheese, and only low calorie dressing... you will likely lose weight. But only if you are also working out.
Something else that might happen is you will get bored as hell with salads, and eventually binge on something REALLY unhealthy.
You may also end up missing out on protein and other nutrients that come from meat... unless you plan to top your salads with meat too.
Better to find a variety of healthy foods you like and choose from them almost at random.
The less change and variety you have, the faster your body will adapt and resist.

Salad is loose term for all vegetables. If so, u wil become healthy as most of the animals r and all humans were before the fire was discovered.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

You'd probably lose weight. You'd also be lacking in calories as the typical salad has very lo-cal ingredients. It probably takes you more calories to chew and digest the food than what it actually contains.
You'd also be lacking in protein. While veggies are great for you, they don't have the protein that's found in beans and legumes.
Trust me...I've been eating salad everyday for lunch for over two years and you want to eat more than salad!

You don't say what kind of salad, so if you mean just veggies, well, for one thing, you won't get all of the nutritional support that your body needs to function. Your body needs protein (meat or eggs), carbohydrates (veggies) and some fat to function.
This is a simplified answers of course................you can get protein and carbs from other foods besides the ones I listed.

Bad...your body needs protein to lose weight and to have energy. If you only eat salad you'll have no energy and won't be able to lose weight. I mean, I'm sure at first you'd lose 5 pounds from not eating junk food but after that you'd be stuck at that weight.
