She has been dating this guy the last 4 months and their getting really close... The problem is there was another guy that went overseas to work about 6 month ago that she still talks to (via email/IM). O.K. here is where she needs advice... The overseas guy asked her to travel to Amsterdam w/ him in a couple of months. He asked her before he went overseas & has already sent her the "1st CLASS, ROUND TRIP PLANE TICKET" and booked their 5 STAR HOTEL! She is thinking about not going w/ him because of the new guy. I think she should go... She really doesn't know the new guy all that well and this could be the only chance she gets to see Amsterdam "where she has wanted to go like forever by the way"
I really hope someone gives me some backup here... I'm more of a Go For It Girl than she is!

okay... if she tells the guy who is paying for all this, what her new situation is... and he still wants her to go... at least give him the option to ask for all of the stuff back.... and he still wants her to go.. then go.... if she goes, and he finds out there.... you never know what someone could do when they've been used and decieved....

She may sense something you don't know about and she doesn't either. I wouldn't lead her, just ask questions and listen without advice and she should find the answer inside herself and then listen beyond that. Either she is thinking too much or their is something hidden in her subconscious that even she may not be able to bring out. I would dig, dig, dig and it would be fun also to get to know another person and how to find out what's in you own heart the same way also. Maybe if they get separate rooms and an understanding about no commitment, no commitment.

You friend is being sincere to herself she did not tell you all you need to know about the first guy and you are just putting your opinion on the fragments you are seeing. I know that not all that glitter is gold , the attention looks so good to be true , do you know the first guy character as much as she does. My suggestion is that you should relax and pray if you know how to do that let her make that decision just tell her you trust her and you will always be there for her.

She seriously should go. Thats hot. And she will have the time of her life. No need to put off a potentially exciting trip for someone she isnt sure about yet.

she should go on the trip!! anyway he already bought the ticket and booked the hotel! just tell the new im going on a trip with a friend of mine and he'll understand!
