That question assumes this god character has the power to allow anything. This may be wrong but I think time moves in a circle or spiral of sorts. If we are all eternal, existing forever, killing the body is meaningless. Just a few moments of pain in a eternal lifetime is not much but it should count for something. If god does exist, I have not found an acceptable description except for one, maybe: god is the only entity that is eternal that knew it was god the whole history of it's existance. Also, love is just a word; the emotion - the grief and pain of losing it and the overwhelming feeling of having 'love' is diluted by locking it up in a four letter word.

You are mistaken. Man only allows suffering and genocide. God is a man made item and just happens to get the blame when man fcuks up.

Have you seen a boomerang? When thrown, it travels in a curved path and returns to its point of origin. What you sow, so shall you reap. If we do good, then good things happens to us. If we do bad, then repercussions follow. It is our our choice. Why is that every time something bad happens, they blame it on God when we ourselves are responsible for it as a result of some misdeed done by us in the past. I do not know if you believe in rebirths, but sufferings in this life can be the result of a wrong done in our past life.
Anyway, the basic thing is... do good to everyone & harm to none.

genocide is perpetrated by human beings - so is much of the world's suffering. We can't explain all suffering, but the world would be a sterile place without it. Without suffering, there is no compassion, no strength of character. Peace, and may your God walk with you.

Because God puts you through all this different situations to learn and make you see that this life is nothing but what comes after it is something. and by passing through this stuff you learn to relly on God in every day of ur life. it's also a test for ur fate in Jesus.

Good question and well expressed.
God does not 'cause' suffering, but apparently He has 'allowed' it.
Why?
If He is a loving and caring God ....there must exist one very good reason!

This is because God permits all humans free will. Remember, also, that God rewards man (primarily) in the afterlife, not in this life. Life is just the prelude to eternity; it's not the whole shebang.

Because there are forces of evil just as there are forces of good.

God is on the side of good, and suffers with us when these terrible things happen.
