no, its not a sin to physically break into a museum and decorate dinosaurs with tinsel and used tires. but by breaking into the museum, you're lying, which is against the ten commandments. You're lying to the people who own the museum. So, that's what makes it a sin, not the act of doing it.

Breaking and entering is against the law. It is also messing with other people's property. Yes, I would say it is a sin.
