honey is used as a moisturizer for skin and hair care. but it is not necessary that u put honey directly to ur head and dont wash it. doesnt it make ur hair feel greasy? anyway, i think, a good conditioner will do much better for u.
but if u really want to use no other conditioner, then u may try this:
mix the white part of an egg with some curd and honey and use it on ur hair. keep it there for about 20 minutes and then wash off with ur shampoo. it worked good for me.

yeh its okay read this :

Hair Conditioner

Mix half a cup of honey with two tablespoons olive oil. If your hair is very dry, add a third tablespoon. Section off your hair and coat it well with the mixture. Cover your hair with a shower cap so you don't mess up the entire house. In addition, the shower cap traps heat from your scalp, enabling the oils to penetrate further. Wash off after half an hour.

Mush 8 strawberrys and mix with 1 tablespoon of mayonaise. Massage onto hair. Put shower cap over it, and then a warm towel, leave on for 1/2 hour. Then wash out.
~Gives healthy looking hair, shininess, and will give it a rich gloss~

Apply oils to your hair (Olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil.) Put a shower cap and leave on over night. When its morning, Shampoo and condition out.
~ Makes hair finer, which makes it smoother, softer, and silkier.~

Use a Natural Boar Bristle Brush. This brush takes the natural oils from your hair, and smoothes it out to your hair.
~Gives the hair a shiny and softer look and feel~

Rinse hair w/ cold water instead of warm.
~ Closes the cuticle of your hair and gives instant shine~

Deep condition your hair once a week (I like Garnier Fructis 3 min. conditioner)
~Hydrates dry hair, and gives it a healthy look.~

Lightly beat 2 eggs w/ a little bit of milk, massage into hair, and leave in for 5 min. Then shampoo and condition it out.
~ Gives softness and silkyness instantly!~

Conditioning after shampooing softens the cuticle of your hair.
~Making hair finer, for softer hair~

I've never used honey.. I'm partial to using a bit of baking soda in my shampoo just a dash.. It gets any styling product residue out and it makes the hair shiny.. It's also really cheap and I use it all around my house.. I also use it to exfoliate my arms/legs etc... Good luck
