dentists usually priscribe antibiotics in case of :
fever, inflammation, swelling, immunocompromised patients as diabetic patients, organ transplantation or patients under corticosteron thearpy, ( or any drug that lower your immunity)
if you're not suffering from those then extraction alone do not need antibiotics..
your dentist knows all this so you should not be concerned..

if there is infection present, the dentist usually treats that before he pulls the tooth. If however the wisdom tooth is only impacted and that is the reason for extraction, there is no need for antibiotic unless you have other health concerns like a weak heart or something.

Were they impacted or just pulled like you'd have any other tooth pulled? When I had mine pulled 10 years ago, I was given an antibiotic prescription to have filled and begin taking prior to having mine pulled - but the teeth were impacted.

Just pulling the tooth doesn't mean you have an infection.
They don't prescribe antibiotics unless needed, so no I think you can relax.
Make sure you keep it clean!!!

you wont get an infection if they sewed the hole shut, and infection would be very unlikely unless you were unwell when you had it done before hand...
