I love massages, and I have them regularly.
Special preparations are not really needed. Do not apply any lotions to your skin prior to your appointment. Have a shower if you have a change to do it.

I like sports massage type of massage without stretching. Some people like more Asian methods but I like Swedish and deep tissue. Ask firm pressure, it does not have to hurt you to be effective.

As a tip I leave anywhere from 5-10 dollars. 44dollars is a very good price for one hour. I would suggest you to have 90 minutes if possible. Extra 30 min makes a huge difference. Time goes fast when you are having fun.

That's a great deal for an hour-long massage. Wear something comfortable and non-restrictive because when you leave, you'll be really relaxed and the last thing you'll want is to be in tight, stuffy clothes. I would wear something like sweats or yoga pants and a comfie shirt. Make sure to wear underwear, because they'll probably have you get down to just those and lay under a sheet (you'll be covered the whole time, they have you undress so they can reach the major muscle areas). They'll have you start either on your stomach or back and flip over at some point during the massage. If you're ticklish, or have had any recent surgeries or injuries, tell them so they'll know to avoid that area. And if you're feeling particularly tight or sore in a specific spot, they can address that for you if you ask them to. Don't be shy about telling them if the pressure is too hard or not hard enough, this is meant to relax you, not frustrate you.

Generally, for tipping, the normal rules apply. 15% for decent service. More or less for exceptionally good or bad service.

Enjoy!

That is a great deal for 1 hour. Wear a sun dress and strip all the way down to get the full affect. It is amazing, great, wonderful, relaxing, exhilerating... it's everything. you might be hooked!

Just make sure you ask for the FULL service massage. You might want to give a wink too.

I would add that I think it's appropriate to shower before-hand, or be reasonably "fresh" when you arrive. Avoid wearing perfume, as it will interfere if aromatherapy is used.
