I would report an employer for hiring illegals period. It becomes a safety risk for not only the employees but the people they are working for. Cheap labor is cheap for a reason. Legal citizens are spending eight to ten years in school and becoming in debt by the thousands, the least employers can do is hire the legal citizens who have worked diligently to be paid more than spare change.

EDIT: Someone who is being exploited just came through and gave us all a thumbs down..

This is done indirectly. The real employers hire legal immigrants with connections in the illegal community. Those legal immigrants are bilingual and exploit the illegals by giving them the work, paying very little. The legal immigrant exploiters make a LOT of money that way, and often bully the newcomers with no regard to any notion of human rights. Employers who hire these middle men should be reported but are hard to prosecute since everything is legal on paper.

No, I would report the illegal aliens that are using the employer. The employer would be busted in the process.

I would report any employer if I just suspected they hired an illegal immigrant. In fact, I just sent my mother a phone number yesterday to turn in her place of employment because she suspects that the non English speaking people are illegals. We'll find out soon!

Employers employing illegal aliens either knowingly or unknowingly should be reported. This is the single biggest reason we have tens of millions of illegal aliens in the U.S. today.

It is a CRIME to hire illegal aliens.

The crucial word here is "exploit". I can't fault those who hire aliens and treat them fairly, both in pay and conditions, but if they are exploiting them, screw 'em. Turn the employer in!
Just be careful, since the law provides very little protection for whistleblowers these days, and the Bushies have made sure that at every level of the federal justice and judicial system whistleblowers have almost zero recourse if retaliatory action is taken against them.
