when im older i want a flat high up in a block , what types of global warming will effect me i live in Hertfordshire, and we dont have any rivers near us or anything like that and i am worried in case Herts floods i will die as i cant swim. i want to know if i will be effected or not can u help me ?

Hertfordshire will not flood because of global warming. The scientists say that if enough ice in Greenland and Antarctica melts, the sea could rise, but it will only rise a small amount, like one foot. So unless you live in Holland you will not get flooded.

Fill a Glass with ice and fill it rim full of tea. Let it set until all the ice melts and check did the level increase or decreasee. It will decreas as the ice occupies more space when it is frozen than it will when it melts. Don't help Gore rob from the poor.

To be honest I'd rather be near to the ground than in a high rise, I think living high up is much more dangerous than living near the ground. I wouldn't worry about global warming by the time you've grown up, It will have all gone. If oyu are very concerned about drowning though, perhaps you should learn to swim.
