io have tried rebooting taking stuff off my computer even re did iE nothing helps

you might have possibily removed one of the working dll files thats the basic reason this should be happening
so better try doing this install the messenger once again which u feel u couldn't right
so try unistalling
do u say that it isn't unistalling then what u do is download the yahoo messenger installer from net and before installing use the option repair and try it should work fine

try the issues tab.. see what it fixes,download this
http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_messenger/
then reboot and try to install it
if that don't work, go into the tools menu of ccleaner. see if you can uninstall it...
or try deleting it from program files.. then cleaning up using the issues tab.
and installing the yahoo thing you downloaded before.

You can use the application TweakNow to uninstall the Yahoo messenger and then you can reinstall it.

Go to www.meebo.com. You can use that to log onto any IM provider. I used it at work all the time until the company took it from us.

bleh... how the hell ppl must know what the F***ck happened to your yahoo messenger..
just follow this steps...
close all programms
unisntalll yahoo messsenger
and delete folder in c:\program files\yahoo
c:\program files\yahoo messenger
those two folders.. and after install fresh copy of yahoo messenger...

it happened to me too but if you want to chat to yahoo users then use yoomba .it lets u chat to people on gmail ,msn and yahoo in the same software
