The idea that Jesus and God are one and the same was spawned from the unscriptural trinity doctrine.
How can Jesus and God be the same when:
Jehovah is called the Most High at Ps. 83:18, but Jesus is called the SON of God? Luke 1:32; John 10:36; 20:31
Jesus called his Father the ONLY true God? John 17:3
Jesus said that ONLY his Father knew "the day and hour"? Matt. 24:36
Jesus said at John 14:28: "The Father is greater than I am"?
Jesus goes into the mountain to pray. (Mark 6:46) Who was he praying to? Himself?
Jesus said at Mark 10:18: "Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God?"
John 3:17 says it was God's Son who came to earth, NOT God.
Jesus is exalted to God's right hand. Acts 2:33
Jesus was resurrected from the dead by God. Acts 2:24
Jesus was made Lord and Christ by God. Acts 2:36
Jesus was anointed by God. Acts 4:27
Jesus and his Father are two separate witness bearers. John 8:18
1 Cor. 8:6 calls the Father the one God. Isn't Jesus the Son?
Jesus was raised from the dead and is now immortal. (Ro. 6:9) But God has ALWAYS been immortal. Ps. 90:2; Hab. 1:12
God not taught by anyone. Isa. 39:13, 14 BUT Jesus was taught by his Father.
Jesus was made Savior by God. 1 John 4:14
Jesus was given the revelation by God. Rev. 1:1
Jesus and God are two different persons.
One person said Jesus is BOTH God AND the Son of God. If that were true, then that would make Jesus both his own Father and Son. Does that make sense to you?

Jesus was very careful to make his actions and words conform to "prophesies" that had been made in the past, the New Testament writers make no secret of this. Those words said on the cross were exactly as written by one of the prophets. I'm sorry but I can't give you the reference. It says much for Jesus's courage that he stuck to his plan to the bitter end. And no, I don't believe that Jesus and God are one and the same. Even the Greeks and the Ancient Egyptians wrote of "God" in the singular. I would suppose that all the other named "Gods" were avatars.

No, because they are Father and Son--just as the Bible teaches us.
The trinity doctrine wasn't even thought of until the 4th century. Before it was put to a vote, people actually worshiped only one God (the true God) and they recognized Jesus as the Son of God and therefore not equal in power.
Whenever Jesus performed miracles, he always gave credit to his God and Father in the heavens, for giving him the power to do so. Jesus never claimed to be Almighty God. In fact, he said that God is greater than he is.

Jesus was quoting Psalm 22. At that moment He became sin for us as God poured out his wrath on Him. All of the other times Jesus called to his Father.
John 10:30 I and the Father are one."
John 14:1 "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him."
8 Philip said to him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us."
9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

Yes, I believe in the Trinity the three persons in one God. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To me this is something that we cannot understand but Faith leads us to believe. As of yet, our minds are not programmed to comprehend the Trinity.
Maybe future generations will understand that fact and maybe all man will have to wait until the end of our existence. Remember Jesus was true man and had the same fears as humans. His understanding developed in his lifetime and the Holy Spirit provided him with who he was and that was; the Son of God. His fiat to His death on the cross as a human being was when He invoked his Father. That acceptance bridged the gap between humans and God and brought us Redemption. I believe they are truly one God in 3 persons.

As A Muslim I do not believe it as I believe Jesus Eisa (peace be on him) to be Son of Blessed Mary (peace be on her) and he was an Apostle of God, blessed with Miracles.
As far as the above Question, Bible has numerous contradictions, which are unbelivable being a Holy scripture as claimed. Please my intension is not to hurt your feelings, it is just an argument quoting your own Bible.
Following Verse of Bible says:
"I and the Father are one." (John 10:30).
Another verse contradicts:
. "what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, `I am God's Son'?" (John 10:34-36).
Now how many sons of Gods as mentioned in Bible?
"...Adam, which was the son of God."(Luke 3:38)
"That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair... And when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them..." (Genesis 6: 2,4)
"...Israel is My son, even My firstborn:" (Exodus 4:22)
"...for I (God) am a Father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn." (Jeremiah 31:9)
"...the Lord hath said unto me (David): 'Thou art My son: this day have I begotten thee." (Psalms 2:7)
There is lot more, but I shall end with it. Brother ask more questions for further information.

No, it does not depend on who you ask. Jesus is God. Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are part of the Godhead, separate but one. Jesus, as a man on earth, would pray to God his father in Heaven. You simply can't think with the human mind because there are things we can't see, things that are yet to be revealed to us; you have to be open to the supernatural world that's all around you. I realize that the Godhead is difficult for some to understand. God is all powerful - believe me, He can be everywhere at once.

No. They are different. Even in the prayer of faith it says "... seated at the right hand of the Father", and before he was crucified, he prayed to God to avoid the happening he He pleased. Jesus can't or maybe doesn't have the right to avoid what will happen to him.

No, and neither did Jesus.
Joh 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
