I usually find myself on this internet about 6-7 hours daily, literally.

Whether it be on Yahoo Answers, Yahoo Chatrooms, Yahoo Messenger, Myspace, ect....

How do I limit myself to way less time?

Thanks.

Hi...

I'm on the internet a lot, too because i'm disabled right now, and there hasn't been a lot of other things for me to do, besides watch television or work on artwork.

Now that i've started the healing process, and am able to get up and around more, i usually write a TO DO list for each day... i cross things off as i do them, and i have a "rule" that i have to get everything done by the end of the day.

I include exercising on that list, going outdoors etc. It's not all "chores".

that might be one way for you to spend less time on line if that is what you want... self-discipline.... the list does work for me. i hope you get some good answers here.

take care

Good for you for taking responsibility for your actions.

Here's a way that may help you.
Set yourself a schedule
.
Go do something else that you need to do.

Only when you have done that, then reward yourself with one hour of computer time.

As soon as you use up the hour, go do something else again, and again only reward yourself when you have it done.

Repeat this over and over, until you are in control of how you feel.
