The final borders of Israel will be those designated in the Bible (especially, as described in the Five Books of Moses and in the Book of Ezekiel).
This final state may proceed in stages; nonethless, the final result will be world peace and global recognition of the G-d of Israel as the One true G-d.

Charlotte: Let me answer your question because many are confused on coming events.
Yes, there are prophecies of blessings if Israel obeyed God, and curses if they transgressed. There are also literal predictions of Israel reigning on earth and it completely restored.
However, Israel followed the wrong path, killed their Messiah, so, as Jesus said: Let no fruit grow from that "pretentious" tree forever.
Instead of Israel saving this world, the prophecies of earth's destruction will be fulfilled as Islamic nations unite. They are listed in Ezekiel 38, and God is restraining until God's people are sealed for heaven.
Armageddon is a real battle as the elements melt with fervent heat and the atmosphere is dissolved. You will want to be among the "Israel of God" that inherit the throne in Heaven.
But the time is coming when the Holy City comes to earth with the saints, and God recreates this planet--the throne of God is here and Earth becomes the new Capitol of the entire universe--Yes, Heaven is here.
So many people have confused issues, and God reorients us to the realities of Scripture in a Bible code, "sealed until the end of the days."
Break the code--it establishes the timing of God's plan of saving us, and identifies Antichrist and the Messiah. http://abiblecode.tripod.com You will especially want to read chapter four, WILL ISRAEL SAVE THE WORLD.
Blessings and AGAPE, Balaam.

that is up to God.
"had to give back much parts of the land" ... do you *realize* how small Israel *IS*?
I'm pretty sure theres less square mileage of geography in israel than there is in the SMALLEST state of the US. (not counting DC here...)
its already really darn tiny!
it really doesn't matter, beacuse it wouldn't be an issue.
personally I would not be suprised if israel itself was restored to the borders of the Kingdom of Israel at its peak, or even larger.
but, again,... not really the point. most of the world would support it in being however God chose it to be.

What is the "Messianic Age"? There is the Church age, or Age of Grace and the Millenial Age in the Bible, but I am unfamiliar with the "Messianic Age."

I never really thought about that. I believe it will be what God told Abraham and Moses.

I think we should be more worried about repairing the environment than silly border disputes.
