Sleep is endogenously controlled by an internal chemical clock in most all living things. This clock is known as your "circadian rhythm". For more information on sleep disorders resulting from interruption of the natural 24 hour cycle of this clock, go to:

sleep on a regular basis. Try to be consistent with bedtime and wakeup times.
