When I smell hot peppers......my nose can feel them......and it burns.

Maybe that's what she meant.

Maybe it's synesthesia like no_good_name_left said, or perhaps they were referring to the ability of a smell to strongly invoke a memory. It has been widely documented that the sense of smell, more so than the other senses, can have a strong role in instantaneously recalling memory.

I once received a baseball bat on my nose and that sort of felt like a smell.

Feeling a smell may have to do with emotions. When you smell something that may remind you of something in your past that makes you happy or say or what ever that is feeling it. and may be called feeling a smell..

Yes you can feel a smell. You know when you are chopping onions and the smell hurts your eyes? That's feeling a smell with your eyes!

Yes it's possible. It's called synaesthia and caused by a genetic abnormality that causes the brain to have mixed signals.

Synesthesia. I have this. I associate words, numbers, letters, etc., with colors. To me, the number 7 is yellow, for example.

technically you can't feel a smell as it is a sense of touch......... get used to people who can't write proper english....... some questions can be quite painful also.............. stop taking things to heart...............
