i have a freind who has a 3 and a half year old boy who is always running around naked, i told her many times that i feel this is inappropriatte exspeciallly since he has a seven year ols sister!!!! she says he is a baby i feel that he is not he is alaways running the streets in a diaper or in there yard naked am i wrong??? to feel this way i hate to go to her house and i am tired on telling her how to treat her grandkids as her son who is the father has a disability and does not disipline them..

He shouldn't be running around naked unless he is in the privacy of his home. Not outdoors where passerbys can see it. Yes, he is still young, but you never know what sickos there are driving by and can see this. Also, telling the parents what you think is only going to start a feud. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it.

First of all, if hes 3 and a half, I have no idea why hes still in diapers. He should be done with that too. As far as the naked thing, I would go until maybe 1.... and I think even then I might keep a diaper on...depending what kids etc were around. It sounds like she wants to keep him a baby in her mind... since maybe hes her last. It is not right! I wouldnt want my kids around him like that.

Once you reach 2, nore nakes swimming! I never allowed my baby to go naked, even before two. We used swimming diapers or just toddler underwear, they work great even on small babies. Stay away from ignorant mothers like that, don't want her to have your kids, huh, then stay away! She'd probably let you run around her house naked, in front of the children!

toddlers love to run around naked so that is normal but sadly child sex molesters are rife,. what i am trying to say is that although your friend might see it as harmless enough, these molesters could be living two houses down from her. Not only is she putting her child at risk with these evil peoples around but her naked son could lure potential sex molesters. I think you should make your friend aware of these dangers and suggest that only letting him run around naked in the house away from prying eyes could possibly avert a tragedy.

You are right, the is a little old to be doing things like that. But some people don't care and no matter what you say they will not listen. You can always ask for him to have cloths on when you are around because it makes you uncomfortable when he does not have any on.

I have to say, is there ever a problem running around naked? In nudist colonies they don't think so. it's only the weather and then our conservatist attitude that has us wearing clothes.
What has a 7 year old sister got to do with it? I think we need to relax on this fear we have of the naked body.
Don't get me wrong - I keep my clothes on. i have put on too mush weight to want to inflict that on people. But I have no issues if my daughter wants to run around naked - they are kids and we should celebrate their innocence before the world gets to them....
However, if he is running around this way because she is unable to get him dressed, then there are discipline problems, as you suggest, and this is a separate issue - and hers, not yours.
if you are not happy being in the house with him in this manner, I would suggest this is your problem rather than hers and perhaps you have to rethink your visits.
But I think on the whole we shouldn't be afraid of nudity or read more sinister things into it than children are capable of carrying out - I'm sure it's quite innocent.

I agree. It's not cute after 1. He is a growing boy and should be treated like one and not like a baby.

to me any age is not approptiate to be running naked outdoors especially kids their are to many kids taken and child molesters maybe they have not thought of that
