-I would say include pictures of children involoved in in classroom activities related to the different develomental domains (this illustrates the work you do with the infants on a daily basis and of course parents will look at pictires!)
-Also you can do a birthday board with a picture of the child along with name and birthday.
-Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with a close-up pic of the child in the star (1star per kid and some extra blank stars should fill up the board)
- I did a black-white photo board with a BW picture of each child and used white ribbon to embellish the board (the ribbon resembled "film")
- I color-copied pics of board books in the classroom and added pictures of the children involved with reading (this illustrates literacy in the classroom). It will turn out really nice with the different book covers and pics!
- have each family bring in a family picture or make a "family page" and make a big multi-cultural display of the families in your center (this will also promote home/school link)

Post some general developmental information. Here's a good web site to get developmental milestones:
http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/autism/actearly/

Use bright colors and keep it fairly simple. Too much "stuff" on it will discourage people from looking at it.

Use the children's art products to decorate it. Have them finger paint, then cut the paper into balloon shapes or starts and post around the bulletin board. If you back each balloon/star with coordinating color construction paper, it will look extremely attractive and parents will be so pleased to see what their baby made!

you can check the general preschool websites for some ideas and try some of your local educational stores or some online ones to get more information

when i worked in the infant room, bulletin boards were for mostly the adults and not at levels the children could see...so my co-teacher and i created some at their eyelevel, by using pictures of babies and their toys and covering them with clear contact paper we could both entertain and encourage the babies we also used lots of mirrors(actually mirror squares from the local home store) which the babies loved even more.

the bulletin boards in our room showed photos of our daily activities, the childrens schedule and our lesson plans for the week....and intechanged them on a montly basis to show some of our monthly themes....like flowers, colors, holidays, and then used childrens art work to decorate them also

www.preschooleducation.com and www.perpetualpreschool.com are fantastic websites... I found many creative bulletin board ideas on there when I was a pre-school teacher.
