he's gay. he has a dry sense of humor. all of his remarks are gay like him. gil grissom is better.

I think the character is awesome and the actor is great, although a little self centered. I remember when he quit NYPD Blue he said that the show wouldn't be a success without him. Yeah, guess what, it was. But he brings a flair to Horatio that no other actor could, in my opinion.

I like david caruso playing Horatio. he plays a good part.

I think David Caruso is in love with himself, which transfers to Horatio.
Every time I have seen CSI Miami, I think, "Who writes his lines."
Horatio's dialog is pretentious.

He's the William Shatner of Dramatic Television. He's quite over the top, but it's entertaining none the less.
