It seems that most of the questions are designed to demean the faith with lies. Not only to they post lies in their questions but inflamitory remarks in their answers. They deny the faith all together and take the answers that do it again. I thought Answers was a place to learn something but it seems it is more of the same stuff you would find in any local pit. You don't have to believe but at the same time I think what is going on ammount to working for the dark side. When will we as Christians get out there and at least stand up for our Lord. If it were a gay site and there were so many pretending to be gay and writing stuff like I have seen on here don't you believe this site would be shut down? Now just watch the un-believers post! On this site you are praised that you want to follow satin. You get tons of thumbs up for saying you want to be a witch. It is rewarded to put down Christians and all we care about. And if you want a thumbs down well just type the name "Jesus"!

I am new and I mis-posted the section name but however see how fast the very ones I was talking about posted in seconds. The difference this time is a believer will be picking best answer. Also I never said all non believers were Satinists. Or witches either. Some are just the plain lost. Oh I don't belong to a cult either. I am a person just like anyone else with a valid question. So why does everyone get so mad? Just because of my faith. No more no less.

Read the posts carefully and decide who is angry at who here.

That simply explains their denial of the reality. No devil can stand at the Name Of Jesus. If theyput a thumbs-up they will have their own conscience pricking. They know that its the truth but simply want to deny to get public applause. Dont you know that all people will one day be brought into the Judgement day. That day none shall escape the fierce hand of God on the unbelievers. Jesus told, "..the world hates you because it hated Me.."

But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. So doyou. AMEN

Actually, I've seen a lot of flamers of every belief on here. Again, you are generalizing. Oddly enough you think that we non-believers are Satanists--how can we be when we don't believe Christian ideas in the first place? And what is so wrong with "being a witch"? At least the Pagans on here are kind and friendly, not rude like you are showing yourself to be. Are you just finding a reason to rant like a child? You're putting yourself right down to the level that you don't want to go. If you are so offended, you may leave.

And by the way, we don't "want to follow satin". I don't worship soft sheets.

I try to be nice to everyone, but some people such as yourself attack that which you are too afraid to try and understand. I feel bad for you that you are so insecure that you must attack others. And this is a religion site, not a Christian site--you have to put up with other religions just like you put up with ours, even "the witches". Find a heart and some kindness.

)O(

EDIT: I am not mad at your faith--I am mad at the way you act, like your faith is the only one that deserves recognition in a world of thousands of faiths. And you are bashing people quite dilligently, even though you try to look innocent.

This is Religion and Spirituality section. Wicca and pagan beliefs are religions and spirituality which qualifies. Muslim is a religion. Many atheists are spiritual, so, which part of Religion and Spirituality says we cannot come here and speak our opinions?

It is Christians who claim their religion is not a religion, but a relationship with God and yes many claim christianity is not Spiritual;, but a relationship with christ. so as I have pointed out before if anyone do not belong here is it not Christians who claim they are neither religious or spiritual and have a ralationship with Christ?

See how vain your arguement is. This section is for discussion and debate about Religion and spirituality and if you believe Y/A is a place that you can find serious answers to question , well even though you can at times, this is mostaly a place people come and pick what they want the best answer to be and not what the best answer really is.

This is a place for discussion. Why can't a non-believer ask a question to a believer. If you can not have a strong point to answer with that is your problem. If a few rude comments challenge your faith how strong is it. And if you dont have a problem with it, accept it for what it is and move on.

Yes there are people who will be childish and just belittle someone and ask stupid questions. That will be everywhere.

But have you also seen some questions and inflamitory remarks from some of the so-called Christians. You have just as many on your side to. Dont kid yourself.

I am a believer.
This section however isn't "religion or christian section."

it's
Home > Society & Culture > Religion & Spirituality

Just because another Theist says something to an Atheist and whats said is incorrect doesn't mean I'm going to side with the Theist.

As a Gnostic Christian I love everyone including Gays, Atheist and Witches. I even love people that claim to be all three.

Since you are so hellfire judgmental you are a Pharasee and require correction.

The only 2 things you need to know are.
1) Love your God with all your heart mind and soul.
2) Love your neighbor as yourself (even if he's your enemie and he harms you to your destruction.)

Those are the commandments everything else, all values, all religion is of this world and belongs to the lord of this world.

Be in the world but not of it.

Blessed Be!

Well, you're certainly a wonderful advertisement for Christianity.

This site is Yahoo!Answers. The point here is to ask questions, and to answer them. The non-believers here are the source of almost ALL of the correct answers to the questions asked here. While there are certainly liars among them, they are the exception among the nonbelievers, while they are the norm among the Christians. You're pointing the finger the wrong way.

You personally have several problems illustrated in your writing. First of all, this "question" is an unwarranted attack, as I've just pointed out. It's also comically poorly written ("satin"). It also shows that all-too-common Christian parochialism, as you assume that this is a "christian section". You accuse "un-believers" of "working for the dark side". In short, you're narrow-minded and stupid, and you don't know how to behave yourself in public.

I hope that helps you to better understand what is wrong with your behavior.
===================
"So why does everyone get so mad? Just because of my faith. No more no less."

No, that's a blatant and intentional lie you're telling because you think it will make you look like an innocent victim. As you are well aware, people are mad at you because of your childish behavior, your lies, and your arrogant insults.

Does the truth hurt?
Or have you managed to destroy your conscience already?

evitabug:
Might as well go ahead and give me a thumbs down right now before you read what my reply to you is.

Your posted question leads me to believe that you believe that all non-Christians are un-believers. I find this an offensive and insulting attack to all of those who are not holders of your belief system (aka Christians)!

So what, if you are praised if you are a follower of Satan. So what, if you are praised for being a follower of Wicca. So what, if you are praised if you are a follower of Allah. So what, if you are praised for being Jewish. So what, if you are praised for being Catholic. So what, if you are praised for not believing in a God/Gods. Etc.

Individuals believe that which they choose to believe, (just like you).

There are so many different belief systems in this great big world and just because they are not followers of “YOUR” faith is no reason to call them un-believers. It is postings like this one that continues to inflame hate for “Christians” for you are openly stating that “Christians” are the only believer’s and that is wrong! Although your posting was not nasty, it was still an attack on others outside of your belief system and is greatly incorrect in the beliefs of the Christian faith. Postings like this turn more people away from the Christian belief then it will attract. You will catch more flies with honey then you will with vinegar. I am not happy with your misguided and incorrect posting.

Your hidden motives are plain to see. (vinegar)

Signed,
A believer and follower of Christ

Well, you got pretty much everything right. For every insightful, respectful atheist, who isn't out to bask or insult (and there are one or two) there are about twenty who are passing their summer by being rude to those writing about faith, and spewing ridiculous one liners, just meant to offend. The lesson in all this is that these kinds of forums, unless strictly supervised, are not the place to gain fellowship or learn too much about actual religion. I don't think I'll be hanging here much longer. There is REAL work and fun, interesting people like yourself out there in the world. It is interesting to see how religion bashers like to spend their time, though. I've gotten an education here!

Also, do you notice how atheists love to pick only on religion? I don't see them going onto every column and saying "witches are idiots, there's no such thing as witchcraft, get a brain, do you also believe in the flying spaghetti monster?" These high end questions are reserved only for Christians! :)

R&S = religions = ALL religions, including the ones you seem not to like.

& your attitude here demean ALL FAITHS with ignorance at the best.

While on the topic - Atheism is also a form of spirituality & so "non-believers" have as much right to be here are the rest of us nutters.

Because we are believers--we just don't believe the same things that you do.

Wildflowers in a field--hundreds of different kinds mingled together--are one of the most beautiful sights on the planet.
Why can't we see the beauty in that same diversity among ourselves?

There are terribly evil people who do terrible things in the name of Jesus and His Father. The fact that they do evil things in the name of good powers, still makes them evil. (The people, not the powers.) Good people who follow a different God or Goddess are still good people.

Let us each try to do good in the world, and dispense with the naming of names.

Jesus is My Lord and Savior. Sometimes I pick a question after reading all the answers posted to see if what I'm going to say has already been said.
I do not see that here, so here goes: How does anyone know that the different perspectives represented here are really any different from what you would find at most Wal-Mart stores on a Saturday afternoon; if we were discussing R & S at Wal-Mart?
What I generally try to do with ANY question is check the profile of who is asking. It is a sad fact as humans that our spirit must be broken before we're ready to seriously discuss Christ or relinquish control of our lives. If I have any doubt as to their real intention, I will err on the side of manners. I am human, and sometimes return sarcasm for sarcasm; but I would prefer to attempt gentle persuasion.
There are some hardcore individuals who appear bitter and they are probably just really hurt by something; I know the Bible better than some pastors I've met, but I try not to beat people over the head with it, unless they're being downright blasphemeous.
I would also prefer to work the Gospel into my answer. I consider this as mission work, and I expect to meet the Devil in his Lair, if necessary, so come well armed and prepared.
