Yes, and this can be normal, but is something that we need to learn to control. I have to pay special attention to this because of my AD/HD, I sometimes tend to say things to people that are somewhat mean spirited and only because I am angry at the time. My friends have learned that this is something I struggle with and have really been understanding and helped me through it. I only seem to struggle with this when I'm around those close to me.

I get this too. If you have these feelings, then you harbor some intense anger for these people from something they had done to you in the past or you have an issue of mistrust from them. I guess these are normal thoughts but you should get a shrink or make stories up from your imagination as a creative outlet for your thoughts, but if the thoughts make you belive you are going crazy then you should seek help. It also seems your parents may treat you like you are inferior to them or criticized you all your life.

You have significant obsessive personality features but not disorder . It is not possible to estimate how severe obsessive situations you have. But you need help from your psychiatrist or psychologist to recognize and cope with these thoughts. At least some of your thoughts (bizarre scenarios, horrific things)must be decided if they are part of these obsessive situation. Because some psychiatric disorders can start with those kind of hidden aggression. But daily stressful life events can cause such like thoughts.Even if mild depression symptoms may have these aggressive disturbances. to eliminate other possibilities you must see your doctor.

Yes!! There is a name for this but I cannot think of what it is called, these are thoughts which people seldom act on.
My friend goes to a therapist trying to cope with the loss of his sister and father, and the therapist told him these thoughts are common in people. We got on this subject because I told my friend that there are days when I don't feel like doing my mothers hair which I do each week, when she pisses me off I feel like slamming her in the head, then I think "OMG how awful I am to even think this way" It seems so sick and twisted, but these are common thoughts- harmless of course unless we act on them. I remember a few times standing in line at the check out in the store, and the person in front of me was annoying, counting every single penny for change, taking forever and I thought "what if I just smacked the chit out of her, what if I knocked her with my fist in the head a few times" but of course you don't, but you think it and then you also think what a terrible person you are for thinking these things.
My own daughter age 12 told me she gets these thoughts sometimes, especially with teachers. So even younger ones have these thoughts from time to time.

It happens to all of us. Thankfully, there is an ENORMOUS difference between thoughts and actions. Let these thoughts flow through your mind and then let them go. If you focus on them, they will be a bother to you longer than if you just accept that this will happen from time to time and then let the thoughts go.

No it isn't normal...this means you are harboring something against them, that you have not dealt with...you SAY there is no hostility, but my instincts tell me different..I pray you will get to the bottom of it, by being true to yourself...
