My friend has allergies to cats. What can he do to stop coughing and being alergic? Is there even a solution? Any steps to help or somethin?

Kittens will get rid of the allergy—worked for me! Tell your friend to play with a kittie, brush it, and take the fur home with him...if he doesn't want to keep the cute, little pouncey kitty.

There is a solution, but it takes a long time. He can go to an allergist and get desensitation shots. They really help, but it can be up to two years before he can tell an improvement. I had allergy shots for nine years and it has made a huge difference.

Your friend can either take medications for his allergy or if he finds that if he has no wish to take drugs, decide to give the cat away. Keeping the cat out of his bedroom and washing his hands after touching his cat can help reduce his symptoms; but will not completely cure him of his coughing.
