Advised 3 months of thinking before conversion. Islam advise NOT to convert because of marriage - it must be a Guinean conversion. Yes, you can marry a Muslim lady after conversion.

of course a muslim girl can marry anyone on planet earth.... lucky for her if the guy prepared to convert to islam... BUT actually this conversion IS NOT a requirement under Islam. it is not stated that a man must convert in order to marry a muslim girl. Rightfully speaking, the girl MUST follow the religion or faith of the husband.... in most cultures too, the wife will follow into the husband's culture, even in surname for example. so why this double std, dont forget in islam too, it is stated wives must be submissive to the husband... if the girl is adamant of retaining her faith, then find your own folks.... why want to marry someone outside your faith... afterall, all religions teaches good things.
a word of advice though, u can force the horse to the pail but u cant force it to drink!!!!
likewise, if someone is compelled to convert due to other motives, he or she will not be a true believer or follower. do we want people like that??? in the bible, jesus mentioned it as hypocrites.... we want quality, not quantity...

yep, if he does convert before marriage, but muslims advise ppl not to convert just for the sake of marrying & later converting back to their old religion.
