3 coworkers that I am close to are all pregnant, a close childhood friend of mine is also pregnant 3 months, 2 of her friends are pregnant, and my cousin is pregnant with her third baby. Is this an omen I will or should get pregant soon? I am kinda hoping it is bc I want a baby (I am 24).

They're all getting pregnant around here, too. When I see them, I can't help but wonder what they personally believe the state of the world will be in 2025. Certain countries have made it illegal to have more than two children. Why? Because the world is overpopulated and resources are limited, a fact which apparently escapes most middle-class Americans.

Okay, that's a little too much hetero for me. *shivers* Well, you may want a kid, but do you KNOW how much responsibility it truly is to take care of one? They require LOTS of money what with all the prepping with the diapers and bassinets and cribs and baby-proofing and formula and clothes and crap like that. I should know; my sister and brother-in-law just had a newborn baby, and it's crazy how much money is used on him.
Since you're 24, I really suggest that you live life a little more because once you pop out a kid, you're obligated to care (at least for 18 years) more about your kid's life than your own. Besides, with the rise in intelligence (okay, this may be debatable if you just look at who's running this country) since more people are going to college and whatnot, the average age to even get married is 28+! Wait another couple of years... maybe pop out a kid when you're 31 or 32, huh? That sounds a bit more sensible.

Pregnancy does seem to be contagious. I was the first of my friends to have a baby, then they all started trying. People get caught up in the excitement of pregnancy. But don't forget all the hard work, loss of freedom and all that responsibility.

24 is pretty young, enjoy life and wait a few years (just a few...)

Maybe you're going to be in need of some money soon, and all these people around you are going to want you to babysit for them. That could be one reason.
Another reason is maybe to teach you that you really don't want a baby because all these women are going to come to you when they are stressed out about their babies, when they can't figure out what's wrong with them, and they need a break from life.
So I would suggest that you roll up your sleeves and be prepared to be a female version of Dr. Phil!!!!

Good luck~ better you than me~~~

It's not mean that u would get pregnant, it just happened by chance. If u married, actually u would have ability to fetus. If not so, do to see the doctor to get medical check.
