I've never despised anyone who I didn't love back, its very flattering, unfortunately some men do turn a bit creepy and possessive when they want to make you like them.
Also some girls are just b***hes.

because she realizes that he cannot figure her true self esteem and so could never supply what she expects of him and so must be unworthy of her time and favours and therefore not worth taking down - a form of sour grapes or he sees Madonna she sees a donkey
