My husband wouldn't! He enjoys sucking the seed a lot. You can even get the feeling that he even enjoys it more than the mango itself.

I accidentally swalled part of a mango seed once. I had to drive myself to the emergency room; it was very painful.
However, I like my fruit to be as natural as possible. When people start fooling around with that in labs and so on, it never tastes as good. I'm still going eat mangos but I'm going to be very careful about that seed.

a mango without a seed would be amazing but that would be the end of the mango generation. Without the seed ( which incedently is called a pip) mango trees would become a distant memory " no pip no mango tree"

yes! i never understood how they can manage to grow seedless grapes and watermelon but not seedless mangos >:/. i dislike mango seeds, they make a mess!. i cut it into slices around the seed and eat those pieces and toss the seed, my best friend on the other hand sucks the seeds like a dog chewing a bone, i love to watch it thought it's hilarious hahaha

yea, that would be interesting. The fibers close to the seed always get stuck between my teeth. lol
